With Zoom connected, BCL registers every customer who pays on your form for your Zoom meeting or webinar. Zoom sends them their link to join. You set this up once in Zoom, once in BCL, and then on each form.

## Create a Zoom app

You need a Zoom account that can create apps in the Zoom App Marketplace.

1. Sign in at [marketplace.zoom.us](https://marketplace.zoom.us) and click **Develop** → **Build App**.
2. Choose **Server to Server OAuth App** and click **Create**. Give the app a name.

3. On **App Credentials**, copy the **Account ID**, **Client ID** and **Client Secret**, then click **Continue**.
4. Fill in the required **Information** and click **Continue**.
5. On **Scopes**, click **Add Scopes** and add these six scopes:
   - `meeting:read:list_meetings:admin`
   - `meeting:write:registrant:admin`
   - `meeting:write:batch_registrants:admin`
   - `webinar:read:list_webinars:admin`
   - `webinar:write:registrant:admin`
   - `webinar:write:batch_registrants:admin`

6. Click **Continue**, then activate the app.

## Connect Zoom to BCL

Have the three credentials from Zoom ready.

1. Go to **Platform Setup** → **Integrations**. On the **Zoom** card, click **Connect** (**Manage** once it is set up).

2. In the panel, turn on **Enable Zoom integration**.
3. Paste the **Account ID**, **Client ID** and **Client Secret**.

4. Click **Save Zoom**.

## Add the meeting to your form

In Zoom, schedule the meeting or webinar with **Registration** ticked as **Required**. Zoom only accepts registrations for events that require registration.

1. Go to **Payments** → **Forms** and click **Edit** on the form.

*(Screenshot: The Edit button on a payment form in the forms list)*

2. Click **Advanced**, then open the **Zoom Integration** tab.

*(Screenshot: The form's Advanced tab highlighted)*

3. Turn on **Enable Zoom Integration**. BCL then makes email required on the form, because Zoom registers each customer by email.

4. Choose the **Zoom Event Type**: **Meeting** or **Webinar**.
5. Choose the event under **Select Meeting** or **Select Webinar**. If a new event is missing, click the refresh button at the start of the field.

6. Click **Save Advanced Settings**.

Event forms have the same **Zoom Integration** tab under **Advanced**.

## Free sign-ups

For a free webinar or class, give the item or ticket a price of RM 0. BCL saves a free order as successful at once. So BCL registers the customer in Zoom as it does after a payment. The customer skips the payment step when the whole order comes to RM 0.

1. Add a free item or ticket:
   - On a payment form, set **Price Setting** to **Multiple Items**. Then under **List of Items**, click **Add Item** and type 0 in **Amount (RM)**. **Single Amount** needs at least RM 1. See [Create your first payment form](/create-payment-form/).
   - On an event form, under **Event Tickets** → **Ticket Items**, click **Add Ticket Type** and type 0 in **Price (RM)**. See [Add ticket types to an event](/event-tickets/).
2. Set up the **Zoom Integration** tab on that form as above.

## Common issues

### My meeting does not appear in the Select Meeting list. Why?

Check that the meeting has Registration set to Required in Zoom, then click the refresh button next to Select Meeting. Also check that your Zoom app has the meeting scopes and that you activated it.

### Can I run a free Zoom webinar sign-up without payment?

Yes. Use a payment form or an event form with a free item or ticket at RM 0, and set up Zoom on it. Customers sign up without paying, and Zoom emails them the link to join. A lead form only collects names. It does not register anyone in Zoom.
