Add a team member (0:25)

Each person who works in your BCL account should have their own login. You add them on the Team Members page and choose what they can do. Only admins can add team members.

Have the person’s name and email address ready, then:

  1. Click your company name at the bottom of the sidebar to open the Account Menu.

  2. Under Team, click Team Member. You can also go to Team → Team Members in the sidebar.

The Account Menu open above the account card, with Team Member highlighted

  3. The Team Members page lists everyone in your account. Click Add Team Member.

  4. A panel opens on the right. Under Account Details, fill in Name, Email and, if you like, Mobile Number.

  5. Choose a User Role: Admin, Team or Crew Event. See Team roles and permissions.

  6. For the Team role, two more fields appear. In Portal Key, choose one or more Bayarcash portals for this person’s sales. In Require Portal Key, keep your portal setting or choose Required or Optional. See Choose a Bayarcash portal key.

  7. Set a Password of at least 8 characters.

  8. For the Team and Crew Event roles, turn on the permissions this person needs. An area’s create, update and delete switches only work once its view switch is on.

BCL shows Member added. Give the person their email and password so they can sign in.

Each member’s row on Team Members has an Edit button to change their details, role or permissions. Admins also see Impersonate on other members’ rows. See Team roles and permissions.

The actions menu at the end of the row has more options:

  • View Details to see their role, portal keys and permissions.
  • Magic Login to create, view or revoke a sign-in link that needs no password.
  • Change password to set a new password for them.
  • Remove to delete their login. BCL asks you to confirm first. You cannot remove the team owner or yourself.

Common issues

Why can't I remove a team member?

BCL does not delete a member who has live payment transactions, so your sales records stay complete. The team owner and your own login cannot be removed either.

My staff forgot their password. What do I do?

Open Team Member, open the actions menu on their row and choose Change password. You can also choose Magic Login to create a sign-in link that needs no password.

Which role should I give my staff?

Admin for someone who runs the whole account, Team for staff who handle only what you allow, and Crew Event for people who only check in event attendees. See Team roles and permissions.
